"Mountain View"

This piece was loosely inspired by my trip to England this past Christmas, and seeing the standing stones at Stonehenge and Avebury. We may never know why these monuments were created, yet its hard to imagine that inspiring a sense of awe wasn't at least a part of their purpose, and they certainly do that. These stones have weathered thousands of years of change, and will continue to do so as they march motionless into the fog of time both past and future.

This intricately detailed piece measures 16 inches in diameter (41 cm) and would be a captivating addition to any collection.
